Congratulating Derek Hazlett's Gold at the British Karate Federation's 4 Nations Championship

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Derek Hazlett, instructor at JKS Arrochar, on his outstanding achievement winning gold in the Veteran Male Kumite category at the British Karate Federation 4 Nations Championship; acknowledges the dedication and perseverance required to attain such success in martial arts; commends his contributions to the local community through his dojo, where he inspires and trains students in Arrochar and beyond; recognises what it sees as the broader efforts of JKS Scotland in promoting karate and fostering talent across the country, and wishes Derek and his students continued success in future competitions and endeavours.
