Congratulating Douglas Community Centre, Dundee
The motion
That the Parliament understands that Douglas Community Centre will remain open following a recent review of services conducted by Dundee Council; believes that the volunteers who manage the centre, and the Douglas community, illustrated the centre’s role in delivering key services for the people of Douglas and the surrounding area; acknowledges the campaigning work that took place to make this clear; notes that this will mean the continuation of the food larder, recovery café, growing spaces and connections to primary schools and GP service; congratulates everyone involved in ensuring Douglas community centre remains open, and wishes them well in all their future activities.
