Bearsden Academy, East Dunbartonshire, Named Sixth in Top 10 High Schools in Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament commends Bearsden Academy on being named sixth in the top 10 high schools in The Sunday Times 2025 League Table for Scotland; believes that the school has a strong academic record, particularly in higher and advanced higher qualifications, offers a broad range of subjects across sciences, humanities and arts, and provides a range of extracurricular activities, including sports, music and drama; appreciates the pupils' involvement in various community and charitable activities; acknowledges what it sees as the strong tradition of leadership development through student councils and student-led initiatives, and wishes the staff and pupils every success for the future.
