Congratulating Lollipop Lady Maggie Watt on Retirement
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Maggie Watt from Musselburgh on her retirement after 38 years as a lollipop lady; notes that Maggie helped children and pedestrians in Dunbar, Prestonpans, Tranent and Musselburgh over the past 38 years; further notes that Maggie played an important role in ensuring kids and pedestrians were able to safely cross the road travelling to and from school; believes that safe crossings encourage more children to walk to school, and thanks Maggie for all her hard work and effort in keeping her community safe.
