Success for the Helensburgh and Lomond's Kiltwalk 2025

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the efforts of the participants and organisers of theHelensburgh and Lomond Kiltwalk 2025, which saw 19,000 walkers raise millions ofpounds for over 1,100 Scottish charities and create the world's biggest everKiltwalk; acknowledges the significance of the event, particularly inHelensburgh, where local residents walked for causes like Beatson CancerCharity; commends the dedication of Helensburgh-based organisations like Jean'sBothy and Lomond Radio in supporting mental health and wellbeing; notes theparticipation of public figures, further highlighting the event's importanceand reach, and wishes continued success for future Kiltwalk events inHelensburgh, benefiting local charities and fostering community spirit.
