The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen Donside-based company, Rubberatkins, which has recently been awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category; notes that Rubberatkins was founded in 1988 by husband and wife team, Nick Atkins and Jill Webster, and is a technology-driven company specialising in the design, development, manufacture and testing of bespoke, high-performance elastomer and plastic components, which are deployed in demanding environments across the energy, semiconductor, aerospace and other high-tech industries; understands that Rubberatkins is one of fewer than 200 UK businesses to receive this distinguished recognition in 2025, with the award representing the highest honour, as one of the most esteemed awards that can be awarded to a British company, which is also recognised worldwide; commends the efforts of all those who work at Rubberatkins, and wishes them all the best for the future.
