NHS Grampian UNICEF Baby Friendly Gold Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates NHS Grampian’s maternity services on achieving the UNICEF Baby Friendly Gold Award; notes that the award, which is part of UNICEF’s Baby Friendly Initiative, recognises organisations with exceptional and sustained commitment to supporting infant feeding and fostering strong parent-infant relationships; understands that this accreditation shows that NHS Grampian has embedded strong standards across maternity, neonatal, health visiting and wider services for children and families; believes that this award recognises the dedication, hard work and excellence of care provided by those working in NHS Grampian’s maternity services, and wishes them well in future UNICEF assessments.
