Congratulating Dawn Craig on Winning Outstanding Community Link Worker of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dawn Craig on being named Outstanding Community Link Worker of the Year at the Scottish Community Link Worker Network Conference; notes that Dawn joined Carr Gomm in Edinburgh in October 2023 and has since worked closely with patients who experience significant health inequalities and financial hardship; recognises what it sees as her vital contribution to the team at Carr Gomm, where her work has helped to address these inequalities and support improved health and wellbeing within the community; commends her commitment to compassionate, person-centred care, particularly her strength in working closely with vulnerable patients, and recognises what it sees as the invaluable role and dedication of community link workers across Scotland.
