Calderbridge Primary School Sportscotland Gold School Sports Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Calderbridge Primary School in Coltness on achieving the sportscotland Gold School Sports Award for the second time; understands that the sportscotland School Sports Award is a national initiative designed to encourage schools to continuously improve physical education (PE) and school sport, and that the Gold level recognises schools that demonstrate excellence across a range of areas, including leadership, pupil engagement, and a commitment to providing high-quality sporting opportunities for all; commends the dedication of the Calderbridge Sports Committee and the entire school community for their ongoing efforts to promote physical activity, health, and wellbeing among pupils; recognises the success of their recent Sports Week, which featured a range of high-energy events and new sporting experiences designed to foster fitness, fun, and teamwork, and wishes the school continued success in nurturing a lifelong love of sport and physical activity in its pupils.
