Findochty Primary School of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Findochty Primary School on being named School of the Year at the 2025 Moray and Banffshire Heroes Awards, which were held at the Banff Springs Hotel; believes that this accolade reflects the school's unwavering commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to act with kindness and engage positively with their community; commends the leadership of head teacher, Dawn Thomson, and the dedication of the entire staff team in embedding values that place children and community at the heart of all they do, and celebrates Findochty Primary School as a shining example of educational excellence and community spirit in Banffshire and Buchan Coast.
