20th Motherwell Boys’ Brigade Receives Grant from the Asda Foundation’s Young Futures Programme

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the 20th Motherwell Boys’ Brigade on receiving a £500 grant from the Asda Foundation’s Young Futures programme; understands that this funding will support the group’s efforts to provide positive opportunities and personal development for children and young people in the local community; recognises what it sees as the valuable role that Boys’ Brigade companies play in building confidence, leadership and life skills in young people through a wide range of activities, including volunteering and community engagement; welcomes the Asda Foundation’s commitment to supporting grassroots youth organisations across Scotland, and wishes the 20th Motherwell Boys’ Brigade continued success in its work to inspire and empower the next generation.
