Caledonian Braves FC Victory in the 2025 FENIX Trophy

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Caledonian Braves FC, based in Motherwell, on its outstanding victory in the 2025 FENIX Trophy in Italy; notes that the Braves secured a 3-0 win over Belgian side, Bechem Sport, in the semi-final before defeating two-time champions FC United of Manchester 3-1 in a thrilling final; further notes that the FENIX Trophy tournament stands for Friendly, European, Non-professional, Innovative and Xenial, and was established to bring together semi-professional and community-rooted clubs from across Europe to celebrate football, friendship and culture; believes that the achievement is a major milestone for the club and a proud moment for Scottish football at this level, and wishes everyone at Caledonian Braves continued success on and off the pitch.
