Musselburgh Inner Wheel Club Celebrates its 70th Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Musselburgh Inner Wheel Club on its 70th anniversary; notes that the group was formed in 1955 and is part of the wider Inner Wheel Group; appreciates the local and international fundraising that the charity undertakes; notes that one of the club's objectives is to promote true friendship and combat social isolation; acknowledges that members organise fundraising events, volunteer at local charities and support causes, such as education, healthcare and women's empowerment; understands that the group meets regularly at the Ravelston House Hotel; notes that there is a board detailing all past presidents who have led the group over its 70-year history and that it will form an integral part of its anniversary celebrations, and wishes every success for the future of the club and all of its members.
