New College Lanarkshire HNC Childhood Practice Students Raise £1,400 for Jak’s Den
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the HNC Childhood Practice students from New College Lanarkshire on their outstanding fundraising efforts, raising an impressive £1,400 for Jak’s Den, a charity that provides vital support to children and young people with cancer and their families across Scotland; commends the students for their initiative, creativity and dedication in organising a two-week fundraising campaign that included sponsored walks, raffles, and “Name the Bear” card sales; recognises the important work of Jak’s Den in offering practical help and emotional support to families facing the challenges of childhood cancer, and applauds the students for making a meaningful difference in their community through compassion and action.
