Cambusdoon Ladies Promoted to Scottish Women's League One

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Ayr's Cambusdoon Ladies football team, who have been promoted to the Scottish Women's League One; notes what it sees as the significance of this achievement with the team securing promotion less than a year after its formation; understands that this follows an impressive season in the regional leagues with the team being crowned South League champions, having won all 16 of its fixtures, scoring 143 goals and conceding only 12; notes that Cambusdoon beat Giffnock to secure its spot in the division next season; commends the hard work and commitment of the players, coaches and all those involved with the Cambusdoon Ladies team, and wishes them every success for the future.
