Prestwick Man Completes Ultra-marathon
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Michael Webster of Prestwick on completing the Ultra Issyk Kul ultra-marathon; understands that the race is over 460 kilometres in length and takes place around Lake Issyk Kul in Kyrgyzstan; notes that the ultra-marathon lasted six days, starting on 5 May and finishing on 10 May 2025; understands that Michael was one of just six people to finish the race with an impressive time of 53 hours and 17 minutes; commends Michael for his achievement, and wishes him all the best for his future.
