Kilwinning Rangers FC Promotion
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kilwinning Rangers FC on securing promotion to the West of Scotland Football League Premier Division for the 2025 season; acknowledges the efforts of manager, Kevin Kelly, and his management team, who arrived at the club last summer and injected fresh ideas and a winning mentality; further acknowledges the management committee, led by chairman Colin Evans, which has overseen what it sees as huge improvements to the club over the year; pays tribute to players such as Dylan Duncan and Jack McMahon, who gave outstanding performances at the end of the season to secure promotion; notes what it sees as the importance of supporting local football and the role that it plays in developing community spirit; commends the club’s resilience and improvement over the past year, and welcomes its return to the top tier of the West of Scotland Football League.
