Sunset Song and Saving Arbuthnott Church

That the Parliament notes that campaigning has been initiated by Arbuthnott Community Development Group to secure the future of Arbuthnott Church; recognises that the campaign aims to raise funds to keep the doors of the historic church open; acknowledges the cultural importance of the church with its connection to Lewis Grassic Gibbon and Sunset Song; believes that the future of the church building is linked closely to Scotland’s literary history; congratulates those who have launched the campaign, and wishes them well in their efforts.
