NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s South Sector Fracture Liaison Service Wins William Cullen Prize for Innovation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s South Sector Fracture Liaison Service, led by Dr Maria Talla, on winning the William Cullen Prize for Innovation at the recent NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Celebrating Success Awards; understands that the technological innovations employed by the service have reduced the time to identify patients with a fragility fracture from 15 months to three days, and believes that this will lead to more timely treatment, greater clinical efficiency and better outcomes for people living with osteoporosis across the area.
