Dr Richa Sinha Receives MBE in The King's Birthday Honours List

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dr Richa Sinha on her award from The King, who has been graciously pleased, on the occasion of the Celebration of His Majesty’s Birthday, to approve her appointment as Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE); notes that Dr Sinha is the chair of the Scottish Hindu Foundation and was given her award for services to the Hindu community in Scotland and tackling Hinduphobia; acknowledges her dedication and service to her community across Scotland, and wishes her every success for the future.
