Parkhead Hub Wins Prestigious UK Award for Excellence in Mental Health Design

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Parkhead Hub in Glasgow on being named Project of the Year - New Build UK at the 2025 Design in Mental Health Awards; notes that the award celebrates innovation in the design of mental health care environments across the UK; recognises what it sees as the unique and community-focused approach of Parkhead Hub in integrating mental health services with public amenities; believes that the multifunctional facility provides vital support, resources and therapeutic spaces for individuals seeking mental health care, and also houses the relocated Parkhead Library and a community café; acknowledges the role of the design and development teams, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and local stakeholders in delivering a space that fosters healing, connection and community wellbeing, and congratulates all those involved in securing this prestigious recognition for Glasgow.
