Falkirk’s Pride of Scotland 2025 Award Winners

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Theo Hardie and Asiyah and Jawad Javed on being announced as 2025 Pride of Scotland Award winners; understands that seven-year-old Theo has been named Young Fundraiser 2025, and that his efforts include a 100-mile cycle challenge in 2023, which raised £2,043 for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland, and a 100-mile running challenge in 2024 to raise funds for mobility equipment for a family member; recognises that Asiyah and Jawad Javed have received an award within the Special Recognition category for their donations of over £100,000 of food and medical supplies to their local community following the COVID-19 pandemic, with their community outreach continuing post-lockdown; congratulates Theo, Asiyah and Jawad on their Pride of Scotland awards, and wishes them all the best for the future.
