The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Michelle Agbo and Emily Traynor, pupils at St Aidan’s High School in Wishaw, on being crowned Scottish champions in the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service's (COPFS) school public speaking competition; notes that they triumphed through four rounds of the competition to reach and win the national final, where they competed against teams from St Andrew's High School in Kirkcaldy and Trinity High School in Renfrew; further notes that their winning presentation addressed what it sees as the timely issue of introducing a law to tackle digital inequality; understands that the head judge, Ruth Charteris KC, Solicitor General, commended the enthusiasm and respectful nature of all participants, and celebrates the talent, commitment and public speaking skills demonstrated by all the pupils who participated.
