Eric Brownlie Appointed MBE in The King's Birthday Honours List 2025

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Eric Brownlie, lately assistant principal for curriculum and quality enhancement at Glasgow Clyde College, on being appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his exceptional services to further education in Scotland; understands that Eric has dedicated his career to enhancing the quality of education and supporting the development of students and staff alike; acknowledges what it sees as his significant contributions to curriculum development and quality enhancement, which, it believes, have had a lasting impact on the educational landscape in Scotland; recognises his leadership and commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment; appreciates his efforts in driving educational excellence and innovation at Glasgow Clyde College, and wishes him continued success.
