Rosslyn Castle Wins Design Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Rosslyn Castle on being awarded a Gold Award in the conservation category at 2025’s Scottish Design Awards; notes that this is following a two-year programme of restoration and repair of the East Range of Rosslyn Castle, including the reroofing of the Great Hall and Tower, bringing both back into use for the first time in over 350 years; understands that other works included consolidation of the building’s stonework and the implementation of a new sustainable heating strategy; acknowledges that the work was funded by the Rosslyn Chapel Trust, and wishes the team at Rosslyn Castle every success in the future.
