Ayr's Margarette Bryan Appointed MBE in The King's Birthday Honours List

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Margarette Bryan, of Ayr, who has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in The King’s Birthday Honours List 2025, for services to the retail sector; understands that the businesswoman has championed the sector in the region for many years, with extensive experience in a range of fields, notably spending almost 30 years at Ayr's Alex Begg & Co; notes that Margarette is a longstanding member of Ayrshire Business Women and has been a non-executive director of Ayrshire College; commends Margarette for her years of service to the area, and wishes her all the best for the future.
