Commending Uddingston Litter Pickers Volunteers

The motion

That the Parliament commends the volunteers at Uddingston Litter Pickers; appreciates the tireless effort of the group, clearing litter from Uddingston and the surrounding areas; understands that in the first half of 2025, the group collected an astonishing 760 bags of litter, put in 475 volunteer hours and recycled a staggering 567 vapes; further understands that the group covers between 17 and 23 localities in the Uddingston and Bellshill constituency each month, and wishes all of the volunteers the very best in their ongoing endeavours in the community.
