The motion

That the Parliament recognises Sandra Caddow, who has retired from the 6th Motherwell Scout Group after more than four decades; understands that the Motherwell-based Scout group bade a fond farewell to a much-loved, long-serving leader, who has seen hundreds of youngsters come through the ranks; further understands that, starting in the early 1980s, Sandra joined the group at the age of 16, having already been awarded the Queen’s Guide Award with Girl Guiding; notes that Sandra’s impact on Scouting cannot be measured by dates alone, but with lives touched, lessons taught and memories made; commends Sandra on her work over the last four decades with 6th Motherwell Scout Group, and wishes her all the best for the future.
