Motherwell’s District Nursing Team
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Motherwell’s district nursing team on being named runner-up in the national Jane Davies Award for person-centred care, presented by Healthcare Improvement Scotland; recognises that the award honours the legacy of Jane Davies, a pioneer of healthcare engagement in Scotland who championed compassion, respect and the importance of listening to the voices of patients and families; applauds the team’s exceptional commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care; acknowledges the heartfelt nomination that praised the team’s ability to place patients and their families at the centre of care, providing not only clinical expertise but also emotional support, dignity and kindness, and commends the dedication of all involved in delivering healthcare that truly values relationships and the lived experiences of those receiving care.
