Celebrating Western Isles Success at the Orkney Island Games 2025

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the contributions and successes of Western Isles athletes at the 2025 Island Games, which were hosted in Orkney; recognises the 11 medals won by the Western Isles Team, including six Gold; extends its thanks to organisers and the wider Orcadian community for hosting an excellent event and extending their warm hospitality to fellow island athletes, and celebrates the spirit of the Island Games to foster closer relations with other island communities across Europe and the world through sport.
