World Boxing Champion Josh Taylor's Retirement

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the sporting achievements of East Lothian boxer, Josh Taylor, including his gold medal win at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, and becoming the second Scotsman and only Briton of the four-belt era to become the undisputed light welterweight world champion; believes that his career has been an inspiration to many in boxing; thanks Josh for being an ambassador of East Lothian and Scottish boxing on a world stage, and wishes him and his family all the best for whatever comes next.
