The Anchor Benefits from Autistic Adult Support Fund

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates The Anchor, which is a Greenock-based charity, formerly known as Man On! Inverclyde, on securing £247,450 from the Scottish Government’s Autistic Adult Support Fund; acknowledges that this funding is part of a wider £2.5 million investment to support nine organisations across Scotland working to help autistic adults reach their full potential; recognises what it sees as the vital work of The Anchor in supporting individuals at risk of suicide or self-harm, and in providing meaningful assistance to autistic adults and their families; commends chief executive Chris Paul and his team for their dedication and success in bringing this project forward, and wishes the charity continued success in its mission to support the Inverclyde community through its open-door policy and peer support programmes.
