Oliver Redgwell-Welch, Young National Chef of the Year Finalist

The motion
That the Parliament congratulates young chef Oliver Redgwell-Welch on being a finalist in the Craft Guild of Chefs’ Young National Chef of the Year competition, which recognises some of the UK’s top emerging culinary talents; understands that Oliver, from Westhill, is an apprentice chef at Entier Ltd, the largest independent catering company in Scotland, which takes on apprentices through its award-winning Fresh Olive Apprenticeship programme; recognises that Oliver, who joined Entier Ltd in September 2023, has won North East of Scotland Young Chef of the Year 2024, North East of Scotland Seafood Chef of the Year 2025, and Young Scottish Chef of the Year 2025; notes that the Young National Chef of the Year finals will take place in London in October 2025, and wishes Oliver further success in his career.
