Iron & Pine Shortlisted for Prestigious Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Iron & Pine, a Dalbeattie-based, Dumfries and Galloway modular construction company, on being shortlisted for two prestigious awards; notes that the company has been recognised in the Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2025 for its innovative work on Bothan, a seven-container home on the Isle of Coll, in the categories of Individual New Build and Innovation in Sustainable Construction and Design; further notes that Iron & Pine has also been nominated in the Made in Scotland Awards in the category of Manufacturer of the Year in the under £25 million category; commends the leadership of co-directors, Luke Maz and Alistair Fell, and the company’s commitment to sustainable design, offsite modular construction, and its contribution to Scotland’s green economy, and wishes the team every success at the awards ceremonies in Glasgow on 25 September 2025.
