Ardenglen Housing Association, 35 Years Transforming Homes and Communities in Castlemilk

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Ardenglen Housing Association on celebrating 35 years of service in Glasgow, providing quality homes and supporting the Castlemilk community; notes that the association now serves more than 1,000 tenants and has played a key role in the transformation of Castlemilk into a thriving residential area; recognises the association’s work in modernising housing stock originally built in the 1950s, including planned improvements such as new bathrooms, energy-efficient boilers and kitchens; acknowledges the broader role of Ardenglen as a community anchor, providing essential services, including money and energy advice and organising community events that help sustain neighbourhoods, and notes the ongoing commitment of the association to revitalising housing and supporting community pride and cohesion in Castlemilk.
