Preston Lodge High School Pipe Band Retains World's Best State School Pipe Band Title
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Preston Lodge High School Pipe Band, based inPrestonpans, East Lothian, on retaining its title as the world’s best stateschool pipe band; notes the band’s outstanding performance at the World PipeBand Championships held at Glasgow Green; commends the dedication of thepupils, Pipe Major Lee Moore, and all staff and volunteers involved in the band’s success; acknowledges theband’s contribution to the local community through regular performances and itsrole in promoting Scottish musical heritage, and wishes the band continuedsuccess in future competitions.
