Recovery Month 2025
The motion
That the Parliament notes that September is Recovery Month; understands that Recovery Month is held to increase awareness, challenge stigma, and celebrate the achievements of those on a recovery journey to overcoming problematic alcohol and/or drug use; acknowledges that Recovery Month shares the message that “Not only is recovery possible – it’s possible for everyone”; notes that localised events and activities across the month of September culminate with the SRC Recovery Walk being held in Stirling, and applauds the efforts of all the volunteers, staff, people in recovery and their loved ones to promote Recovery Month and its important message.
