Success of Milngavie Street Party 2025

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates, Billy Milligan, who is a hospitality entrepreneur, and his team, for organising what it considers was a hugely successful Milngavie Street Party 2025; notes that there was a free family daytime event that had a street parade with Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse and Pocahontas, and various musicians; appreciates the magic show put on by "Uncle Billy", with a kids' disco, face painting and delicious food available around the town; acknowledges the local businesses that showcased their excellent products and services; notes that the evening event had a line-up of world famous DJs, who played to packed audiences, and wishes the team every success for future events.
