Celebrating Highland Business Women Awards and Finalists

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Highland Business Women on its anniversary year and all finalists in the Highland Business Women Awards; recognises what it sees as the significant contribution that women-led enterprises make to the economy and communities of the Highlands; notes that the awards celebrate achievement across a range of sectors and provide visible role models, networking and mentoring opportunities; commends the organisers, judges, sponsors and volunteers for their work in delivering the event; acknowledges the continuing efforts of partners to support women in business across areas such as procurement readiness, access to childcare aligned to trading hours, and routes to finance, and wishes every success to the awards ceremony and to all finalists and winners this year.
