Congratulations to Stuart Gillespie on Winning Pride in the Job 2025 Quality Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Stuart Gillespie, a site manager from Wishaw, onreceiving a Pride in the Job 2025 Quality Award from the NationalHouse-Building Council (NHBC); recognises that Stuart was honoured for hisoutstanding work at the Oakwood View development in Hamilton; understands thatthe Pride in the Job awards are now in their 45th year and are widely regardedas the "Oscars" of the house-building industry, celebrating sitemanagers' dedication to raising standards in new home construction, showcasingbest practice and rewarding excellence; notes that Quality Award winners, suchas Stuart, will now progress to compete for Seal of Excellence and regionalawards in the autumn, with national Supreme Award winners to be announced inJanuary 2026; commends what it sees as Stuart’s professionalism and leadership,and wishes him all the best in the next stage of the competition and in hiscontinued career in the construction industry.
