Congratulating Y-Sort-It on its 25th Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Y-Sort-It for serving young people in the West Dunbartonshire area for 25 years; notes that it was founded in January 2000 after research showed that there was overwhelming support for youth service provision in the area; understands that it was launched by the Youth Management Committee, which believed that the service should be run for young people by young people; acknowledges that the organisation has been able to offer more opportunities and youth-friendly spaces for young people across the area with the expansion of their premises in Clydebank, Bonhill and Carbeth; hopes that all involved enjoy their celebration on 6 September 2025, in recognition of a fantastic 25 years; wishes them well for the future, and believes that Y-Sort-It will continue to grow from strength to strength.
