Allied Vehicles, Inspiring City Awards 2025 Winner

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Allied Vehicles, winner of the Economic Impact Award at the Inspiring City Awards 2025, for its outstanding contribution to Glasgow’s economy through business excellence, employment and social responsibility; understands that the company employs over 800 people, has an annual turnover of £350 million and has launched the Allied Vehicles Charitable Trust to support organisations making a positive social impact; recognises what it sees as the innovative approach to vehicle design and commercial services that has strengthened Glasgow’s position in the UK market; appreciates the role of staff, management and stakeholders in achieving commercial success and community engagement, and commends Allied Vehicles for combining economic growth with social responsibility and being a model for ethical, impactful business practice in Glasgow.
