The Yard, Inspiring City Awards 2025 Commendation

The motion

That the Parliament commends the Yard on its receipt of a commendation in the CommunityInclusion Award category at the Inspiring City Awards 2025, for providing play,creativity and connection for disabled children, young people and theirfamilies across Glasgow; notes its focus on inclusive adventure play, fosteringconfidence, social engagement and wellbeing among participants; recognises thededication of staff, volunteers and the wider community in supporting theorganisation’s work; appreciates the positive impact on families, children andyoung people’s development, and encourages continued recognition and supportfor the Yard’s vital contribution to social inclusion, creativity and equalopportunities in Glasgow.
