Scottish Sports Futures, Inspiring City Awards 2025 Winner

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Scottish Sports Futures, which was the winner of theYouth Empowerment Project award at the Inspiring City Awards 2025, for itsinnovative use of sport to support young people facing poverty, trauma andadversity in Glasgow; notes that its programmes build confidence, resilience,life skills and pathways to opportunity; recognises the dedication of staff,volunteers and partner organisations in delivering meaningful community impact;appreciates the positive influence on youth development, social inclusion andwellbeing, and commends Scottish Sports Futures for empowering Glasgow’s youngpeople and contributing to stronger, healthier and more resilient communities.
