Musselburgh Floral Art Club

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Musselburgh Floral Art Club on receiving £2,100 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the club is East Lothian’s only remaining floral art club; commends it on staging its first flower festival in nearly a decade as part of its diamond jubilee celebrations in 2025; notes that the group will use the one-off funding for a weekend of floral activities and discussion for the community to celebrate the festival, and recognises that the club is not just for people who are devoted to flowers, but for anyone who loves flowers.
