National Lottery Community Fund Support for East Lothian Organisations and Groups
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the recent announcement that 12 community organisations across East Lothian have received funding from the National Lottery Community Fund; recognises that this funding will support a diverse range of grassroots projects aimed at strengthening communities and improving lives; notes that recipients include East Linton Gala Association, the Pennypit Centre Management Committee, Scottish Seabird Centre, Thrive East Lothian CIC, East Lothian Roots and Fruits SCIO, Ocean Vertical CIC, East Lothian Council, Shorelark Arts CIC, the Haddington Bridge Centre, Heavy Sound CIC, Whitecraig Gala and Wallyford Children's Gala Day; further notes that many of the grants awarded are under £10,000, reflecting the fund’s commitment to empowering smaller, community-led initiatives; commends the National Lottery Community Fund for its continued investment in East Lothian’s third sector, and wishes all funded organisations and groups every success in delivering their projects.
