Elaine Collins Wins Community Champion Award

That the Parliament congratulates Elaine Collins, a dedicated volunteer from Cardenden, on having been named the winner of the prestigious Community Champion award by the Scottish Civic Trust in recognition of her outstanding volunteer work, which, it believes, has made a significant impact on local access, green spaces, and community wellbeing; notes that Elaine has been dedicated to making the outdoors more accessible for everyone, from leading the Cardenden walking club to restoring neglected woodlands and upgrading historic walking routes; believes that her efforts have brought people together, improved wellbeing and helped to protect the local environment, and considers her work and leadership to be an inspiration to all.
