Jude Callister to Retire from Scapa Flow Museum After 20 Years

The motion

That the Parliament pays tribute to Jude Callister on her retirement after 20 yearsworking at the Scapa Flow Museum in Lyness, Orkney; understands that Jude beganworking at the museum in 2005 as an assistant custodian, before becoming avisitor services officer in 2009; acknowledges that, following the museum’sredevelopment in 2022, Jude was the only staff member who had witnessed theproject in its entirety, from beginning to end; believes that Jude’s wealth ofknowledge and unstinting commitment to the museum over the last two decades hashad a really positive impact on the running of the museum as well as on theexperience of those visiting, whether from Orkney or all around the world;thanks Jude for her years of service, and wishes her all the best in herwell-earned retirement.
