Congratulating Darren Robertson on His Inspiring Aberdeenshire Community Spirit Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Darren Robertson on receiving the Community Spirit award at the Inspiring Aberdeenshire Awards 2025; notes that, as chairman of the Portlethen Town Association and the Portlethen Gala, he leads efforts to provide the community’s Christmas tree and lights, as well as the annual Gala; further notes his key role on the Portlethen Jubilee Hall committee; recognises his annual Santa Run, which brings joy to local streets, and his work securing defibrillators across the town, and wishes Darren and all involved continued success in nurturing Portlethen’s vibrant community spirit.
