2025 Celebrate Aberdeen Awards

That the Parliament congratulates all those announced as finalists in the 2025 Celebrate Aberdeen Awards; notes that the awards, which are returning for the sixth year, give recognition to people and organisations involved in the third sector, and will see winners announced at a ceremony at the Chester Hotel on 1 November 2025; understands that 22 individuals and organisations have been nominated across eight award categories, including large and small organisation of the year, community impact, young supporter of the year, volunteer/fundraiser of the year, event/campaign of the year, heart of the community and team of the year; believes that all those nominated should be rightly proud of having their names put forward; hopes that everyone has a fantastic time at the ceremony, and wishes every nominee the best of luck in their category.
